PEDRO BOHOMOLETZ DE ABREU DALLARI

Professor Dallari holds a Law degree (Law School, University of São Paulo, 1981) and is graduated in Business Administration (São Paulo’s Getulio Vargas Foundation, 1985). He is Master (1993), Ph.D (1999) and Livre-docente (Habilitation, 2009) in International Law (Law School, University of São Paulo). At present he is an Associated Professor in the Department of International and Comparative Law at the USP’s Law School, working in the undergraduate and graduate programs of the Law School and of the Institute of International Relations. He has continuously exercised public function in Brazil and with international organizations. He was Councillor in the City of São Paulo (1989-1992), Assemblyman of the State of São Paulo (1992-1999), member of the Human Right Commission (on the national and State of São Paulo levels) at the Brazilian Bar Association (1998-2006), judge and President of the Administrative Tribunal of the Inter-American Development Bank (2004-2008) and Member of the Specialists Committee of the Organization of American States Good Offices Mission in Colombia and in Equator - MIB/OEA (2009). Professor Dallari also works professionally as a lawyer and legal adviser in the city of São Paulo. Author of articles in Brazilian scientific magazine and collective works and author of the legal works The Constitution and Foreign Relations (Saraiva, São Paulo, 1994 and 2002) and The Constitution and International Treaties (Saraiva, São Paulo, 2003), he coordinated the collective works international Relations: Multiple Dimensions (Edições Aduaneiras, São Paulo, 2004) and Contemporary Themes in International Relations (Edições Aduaneiras and Lex Editora, São Paulo, 2006).
